OVERVIEW

Known simply as the “GIV”, this private jet is one of the most well-known and recognizable aircraft produced by US-based Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation. Charter jet clients enjoy great features including its stand-up comfortable cabin, long-range capabilities and oversized captain chairs.

The Gulfstream GIV can travel up to 4,300 nautical miles without stopping. What’s more impressive is that, with a full complement of 13 passengers, it can travel 3,800 nm nonstop at a cruise speed of 528 mph. The most common routing in the United States for a GIV private jet charter is between New York and Los Angeles. It is also frequently used for transoceanic private jet charter flights to London and Paris. To create it, Gulfstream took its popular GIII and stretched the fuselage by 4.5 feet. As a result, passengers have even more cabin space with which they can relax.

The Gulfstream GIV’s cabin, which measures in at 1,650 cubic feet, comes in handy for those traveling in large groups. Furthermore, the GIV private jet is popular among business executives because of its takeoff and landing performance. It needs just 5,800 feet of runway for takeoffs which, for a jet of its size, is remarkable. And then there’s the speed factor. The impressive cruising speed of nearly 530 mph makes the Gulfstream GIV an attractive choice for even the most discerning private jet charter flyers. The Gulfstream GIV is also small enough that it can access smaller airports that some of its class competitors can’t. When you combine that with its range, it opens up a tremendous number of flight planning options for those who need to travel far distances, and to remote locations.
