It was based on the CJ 2. The plane rises more quickly, cruising flight speed and range have increased, lifting to 13,716 m (45,000 ft) takes only 28 minutes – eight minutes faster than the basic CJ2. Efficiency was also increased, with the full FADEC control of engine operating regulators. Like all Citation CJ aircraft, the Cessna Citation CJ2 + is certified for single-pilot management. There are 6 seats in the cabin, four of which are opposite each other and are quite comfortable.
